New York’s CL Smooth is the definition of a golden era legend. His classic record with former band mate Pete Rock entitled T.R.O.Y. (The Reminisce Over You) is still plaid at pretty much every hip hop event to this day close to 25 years since it’s release. CL Smooth has continued to release great music as a solo artist and occasionally collaborate with Pete Rock. There are rumors that a new Pete Rock & CL Smooth album is in the works.
